I'm Sass and I'm a Humanist Wedding Celebrant. I'm based in Durham City and am happy to travel as far afield as you like to create and deliver the most wonderful wedding ceremony you never even dreamed of.
You don't have to be a Humanist for me to work with you - though you might be surprised to find you actually are! You can have fun finding out HERE if you'd like to.
If you don't feel that a church or religious ceremony is for you and a Registry Office just doesn't feel quite 'you', maybe we should talk.
What I do
I create bespoke, personal wedding ceremonies, with the couple and their love story right at the heart of it. No matter where, how or when you want to get married, together we will incorporate all the elements that matter to you to ensure the most important day of your life is the most unforgettable one too - for you both and also your guests. If you can dream it, I can probably include it.
How it works
We'll arrange an initial discussion to see if we're on the same page: that's so important. If we're right for each other, I'll get you thinking - maybe even get you to start doing some homework - and then we'll meet again to discuss all the elements you want to include. We'll talk music, poetry, readings, songs, traditions, promises, tokens and any people you'd like to get involved too, until we've agreed on format and content.
Then I'll work on a script for the whole thing, completely tailor-made for you, until it fits you perfectly.
On the day I'll ensure it all runs like clockwork so all you need to do is turn up and ENJOY!
